This paper asserts therefore, that mindset perspectives can actually influence how we perceive things. It further argues that mindsets, not only affect how we perceive relative reality, but that they (mindsets) often influence our relational behaviour based on such relativism. Thus, ‘a view from two mindsets’ is explicitly influenced by one’s perceptions, assumptions and stories, based on single or multiple perspectives. It is equally influenced by EQ (Emotional Intelligence) and/or IQ (Mental Intelligence). Relativism is crucial to all this, as basis of standards and values that help form choices. There are four elements of Relativism at play here, namely: Naïve Relativism, Role Relativism, Social Relativism and Cultural Relativism.
