THE Casanova Principle is a thought-provoking, insightful look at how the modern man has gradually lost his capacity to sustain a lasting love relationship. It reveals how the focus on material acquisition and the craving for physical achievement has robbed man of the spiritual insight to identify and key into the ‘infinity of the other’ which the male-female essence requires in order to elevate humanity to divine heights of enlightenment.
Described as “a gentleman’s guide to seduction and romance…and a lady’s guide to knowing herself intimately”, sis the third published and highly acclaimed novel by Valentine Alily.

The purpose of this paper is to showcase the applicability of Organisational Management Intelligences in Love Management Relationship for relationshipsustainability. Portions of this paper and the research thereof are derived from Part I of my doctoral thesis monograph titled, The Theory of Management in Relationship-Sustainability (Alily, 2020). Management is arguably one of the most overused, even abused terms in the world, and it is taken to have a very broad meaning. However, one of these meanings brings into context the association of management with the word ‘process.’…

Africa was the next best investment destination prior to the disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic. Javier Santiso, the Chief Development Economist and Deputy Director of OECD Development Centre, believed that Africa was in the process of becoming the new frontier for emerging market investors. A look at this hitherto hardly noticed trend revealed some impressive movements. The enthusiasm was no longer limited to South Africa, for instance. Instead, from bases in London and New York, Johannesburg and Lagos, flows of investment into the entire continent was gathering pace, to countries like Kenya, Ghana and Botswana…

Tributes
This section serves as a tribute to his impactful life, gathering appreciative reflections on his time with family, friends, and colleagues, alongside reviews of the diverse body of work he left behind.
Dr Val books were part of the Pacesetter series. I read them in high school. I think that they actually, it was the first set of novels my mother bought for me back the donkey years ago and it sparked my interest in reading. They are part of the Pacesetter series of the 80s back in the day.

Dear Brother of Dr Valentine Alily
My brother was a rare soul: handsome, creative right from childhood, thoughtful, and profoundly intelligent. His words as a poet and writer carried depth and beauty, much like his spirit. I will forever cherish his smile/laughter, the conversations and quiet understanding that we shared. I miss him deeply and will continue to miss him - more than words can express. Rest well Valento, your light and brilliance will forever live in our hearts. We all love and will miss you dearly.

Dear Brother of Dr Valentine Alily
A brother's love is a special bond that time and distance can never break. All I hold on to are memories. I will always remember the impact you had on my life, the life lessons, and your incredible sense of equity and balance. You were a great brother and friend. A colossus, an intellectual. Words fail to capture the creative genius you were. A thinker with philosophical depth. I have missed you for long and now forever. My regrets are excruciating of the undone.Rest in peace, Val. You are missed, today and always. Your spirit lives on in each of us.

Dear Nephew to Dr Valentine Alily
Uncle Val is truly unforgettable. He had a presence you couldn’t miss, strong and full of heart. That same spirit made him the center of so many family stories, the ones we’ll keep telling with smiles, laughter, and maybe a few tears. He was strict when he needed to be and kind when it mattered most. Now that he’s gone, those memories feel heavier, but also more precious. We’ll hold them close, the laughter, the lessons, the love and carry them with us wherever we go. Forever in our hearts.

Chief Executive of Business Engage
I want to take a moment to honor someone incredibly special to me, Valentino. He walked beside me through the writing of all three of my books, not just as a collaborator, but as a gentle, steady presence who poured heart, wisdom, and belief into every chapter. Valentino also helped me find my voice on the page, and his kindness shaped more of my journey than he ever knew. I am deeply grateful for the light he brought into my life and that of my family. May his soul rest in continuous power and peace.

Dear Sister to Dr Valentine Alily
For my beloved brother, Valentine Onyekwere John Bull (Val), who was my first friend, biggest advocate, and a pillar of support throughout my life. Though we were childhood rivals, our clashes often centered on his talented but destructive artistry. We grew into inseparable confidantes, sharing losses, laughter, and all our ambitious dreams. Val was an extraordinary polymath: a brilliant writer, gifted artist, intellectual, and massive dreamer. His sudden and heartbreaking passing feels unreal, leaving countless unfinished conversations. While the pain remains, I promise that his spirit is permanently etched into my heart and my love for him will never die. Rest in eternal peace, my brother.

Chief Child Protection with UNICEF in Lebanon
Dr. Valentino, my magic writer, we met in Pretoria, South Africa in 2022, just before I left to Lebanon. And I can still see you coming in with your beautiful suit and a wonderful smile. And I prepared a glass of red wine and then we started. It was so beautiful how you interpreted my life's journey and called me the mother of nations. I was always very humbled about that. And I truly thank everything, our friendship, your warmth and your kind care for me when I was in Lebanon. And your nudge for me to get out so that I would be safe in your concern. So, Dr. Valentino, I admire you. Thank you for all the friendship you have portrayed to me in my life for the last years.

Dear Niece of Dr Valentine Alily
From childhood, I carried fond memories of him. During a family trip to Lagos, he welcomed us into his home in Ikeja, and he invited me into his study and told me how proud he was of me and how certain he was that I would become someone great. He believed in me long before I understood what that meant. I remember how he looked, how he smelled, and how his presence lingered, his wit, wisdom, humour, quiet confidence, and extraordinary creativity. His car sketches were ahead of their time, his writing was poetic and profound, and his fashion work in Ghana showed his bold versatility. From an arts degree to earning a PhD in psychology, he constantly reinvented himself and proved there was no limit to what he could achieve.

'A thoughtful review of Mark of the Cobra'
The first time I read this book was in February 1985, I was in high school then and it was refreshing to read a story about an African secret agent in the Nigerian naval intelligence. This books moves as swift as lightning from the first stage to the last; eliminating the sterotype that James Bond like heroes are only a product of first world countries and super powers. Its a novel that appeals to everyone as long as you are an action junkie like most of us are, and also goes deep down the dark secret of the martial arts - stuff we rarely see from African writers.

Doctor of Philosophy in Management of Technology and Innovation
My friendship and partnership with Dr. Valentino was truly a gift from God. We met at a book launch, where he immediately saw that I had a story to tell and offered to help me share it. I believe God aligned our paths; he became the collaborator I had been praying for. Our storytelling mornings were sacred moments where he helped me unpack my soul, my experiences, my pain, and my joy, and he beautifully shaped my narrative. Val believed in me, encouraged me, and always reminded me not to give up. Though we only had a few years together, he was a true friend whose wisdom, support, and faith in me I will always cherish.
